IN BOX for new rigid siding includes box w/ weatherproof-in-use cover, installed bug plugs, (1) standard duplex and (1) GFCI face plate, (1) NM cable connector, FX3 block bushing w/ washer, and mud cover.

New Construction - Installation Method 1

1. Install NM cable connector and wire. Attach IN BOX to stud.

2. Install moisture barrier around IN BOX per manufacturer’s instructions.

3. Cut rigid siding to fit around IN BOX. Caulk around box.

4. Install wiring device and reinstall cover (if removed for installation).

New Construction - Installation Method 2


1.
Cut opening in plywood. Pull wiring.

2. Install NM cable connector and wire. Attach IN BOX to substrate, then install moisture barrier around box as shown above.

3. Cut rigid siding to fit around IN BOX. Caulk as above for a great looking job!

4. Install wiring device and reinstall cover (if removed for installation). IN BOX ships with installed bug plugs (not shown in photo).
